This is amazing. I thought my remote was dead, turns out it had just lost it's programming from the dead battery. I followed this and had it fixed in 15 seconds. Yet another reason I'm glad I got rid of my Jeep. Thanks for the help NoliWan.

It is the Toyota Radio. It does not turn off with opening of door, or with any amount of waiting time. It looks like I'll be tearing into the dash this weekend to figure out what the deal is. Anybody have any good resources for me? Thanks!

The clock is separate...the one sitting between the air vents. It doesn't turn off. So now that we've confirmed this is odd, anybody have previous experience with this? Much appreciated, Jason
