    Official 5th Gen T4R Off-Road pics

Haven't checked in here in a bit. 4R to Tundra to RAM and back to Tundra. Wife is looking to get into a Sienna, trying to reel her back in and get her into a 4Runner again. Anyway, spent the past 6 days on the trails with a MASSIVE group of Tundras out there in AZ and thought I would share...

Might be back into a 4R soon

So I am in a Camry for the next two weeks. Holidays and they did in fact have to order me a new transmission. They think that a clutch pack froze up and blew the tranny apart at 4th gear. Pretty crazy, not many blown Tundra transmissions out there, thankfully it is getting fixed for free :whoo...

So that Trail sold before I got out to the dealer to even check it out. Back to the drawing board. Oh, and as of this afternoon my Tundra is now a three speed, not six. Gears 4-6 no longer exist. Gets picked up tomorrow to go in for likely a tranny replacement. :happens:

You certainly do. I am one of those crazy people that believe in freedom and will fight for it :laser: I am around here and there regardless of my ride. t4r > all

Might be back into a 4R soon

I have two of them now! I cannot say that it is no fun as I have had a blast with it. I put it in places that I probably shouldn't and it has the deep pinstripes to prove it. Biggest thing is that I find that I will not take as many trips as I used to due to the cost. I used to go camp out in...

Might be back into a 4R soon

Yeah, that is my hang up. Makes me want to shift gears and maybe check out a brand new one. Who knows though. Doesn't look to be wheeled hard, I am more worried about who did the work removing the lift and if it was done half assed since it was being traded in. Let me know what you think if you...

Might be back into a 4R soon

I have been talking to the sales guy I always deal with and he told me that it had a lift and stuff on it and it was taken off and put on a 2014 Trail. That is kind of concerning to me as I do not know who did the work nor the quality of it. Then again, it'll be lifted in the first couple of...

Might be back into a 4R soon

I pulled a lifted Coleman tent trailer through all kinds of stuff when I had the 4R. I will likely go that route again, but I will check out the trailers you are talking about.

Might be back into a 4R soon

I traded in my 2010 SR5 for a new Tundra Crewmax at the end of last year to pull a bigger travel trailer. This year I have found that we do half of the camping and wheeling that we used to do due to the trade (higher fuel consumption, less ability to get to where we want to go with the bigger...

    SeattleMike's Storage Drawers

Someone definitely needs to pick these up. If I still had my 4R I would make the trip up to pick them up without a question.

    Traded in the Trail Edition...

Welcome to the dark side! You will likely not regret the decision. There are some things I miss about the 4R, but all in all I love the Tundra enough to make it worth it. On 35" Trail Grapplers, 4.5 inches of ARB lift under it, and a Transferflow 46 gallon fuel tank I am averaging about 13...

Any recommendations for mud flaps for 2103 TE?

Mud flaps? Who needs that?!?! In all reality, you're gonna tear em off the first time you actually go wheeling. I never ran mudflaps for that reason. Most states do not require SUV's to have mudflaps, just trucks, so enjoy it :smashputer:

Question for those with the curt 31367 front hitch

Search threads started by me. It has been a long time and I have forgot the number. That sounds right, but double check :bounce:
