Also I swapped the MAF with no difference.

I was running my eclipse with the wrong year computer in it and the car wouldnt run with the MAF plugged in. The DSM experts couldnt figure it out. Nothing amazes me anymore.

I was looking under the hood a little bit today, and I found there is no tps sensor...the screws are in the throttle body and the plug is there but the sensor is missing....we will see what happens.

22RE. Discovered somthing today when I got to work. The o2 sensor sint in the exhuast. Its still attached to a old piece of pipe that was cut off of the stock exuasht system, and its wrapped around the frame. So Im going to put a new o2 sensor bung and sensor in. I also called a friend whos...

So I just took delivery of my 88 runner. While driving it home I figured out it has a very wierd hesitation or maybe power loss. In every gear, up until what Im going to say about 4,000 rpms, its dead...it will barely get out of it own way, then once it hits about 3,000 maybe 4,000 rpms it...

Thanks. I found chaos' website and was lookig at there setups. That does look like a cool way to go , but pricey. And thats why I got rid of the eclipse in the first place. I think I will end up going with the Superlift. And maybe one day, if Im really nice to my wife I can get the Total Chaos...

I was leaning twords rings. But since its not smoking I wouldnt bet on it. I would run a compression test to be safe.

So i recently purchased a 88 4runner. The truck has a 3 inch body lift, (i know, i know). Im looking to do a suspienson lift, but I cant find any good parts for the IFS. I see a lift from Superlift and the like. But is that my only real option? Im not really into the solid axle conversion...

Is it blowing smoke under acceleration? Or at any time for that matter? If so what color? As for the other problems.....Im new to the 4 runner world...Im not sure on there quirks either.
