buy a beater. old saturn or honda civic or something. You mention washing/waxing the vehicle but you are forgetting what that stuff does to the underside of the vehicle. Every bolt/bracket/nut will rust/corrode. Have a buddy that works in the mines and when i work on his vehicles, it's insane.

Correct me if i am wrong, but doesn't one put in thicker oil to cover up a rod knock? Thicker oil, higher oil pressure.

If it were mine, i'd pull individual spark plug wires off and see if the "knock" goes away. Try and pinpoint a cylinder.

As i am sure you have researched, your torque converter is unlocking allowing the fluid to really heat up. If it were me, i'd turn OD off and not sweat the dip in the gas mileage. Also, how old is your fluid? Consider changing it so that you can get some fresh stuff in there.

I use a scanguage ii as my primary "cheap" scanner and then a old snap on mt2500 for diagnostic work or bilateral communication... Don't think the snap on will work on that 07 of yours though...

If you run a small doughnut, you could cook your rear end if you put it on one of the back wheels...

You can get little adapters that clamp down on the fiberglass flag. Honestly though i am super surprised that your flag didn't come with one. As mentioned above, i would invest in a better quality flag with a spring mount. p.s. is there any rules or regs surrounding flag placement? Some parks...

I would reuse but that's just my two cents.

Two relays and two diodes. First relay gets power from the parking lamps. Signal wire is reverse light. Ground to chassis and outputs 12v to your LED pods. Diode on the output to prevent reverse current flow. 2nd relay gets power from constant 12v, signal wire is from your dash switch...

I used an autozone steel ziptie on my inner boot for a period of time. i put a normal plastic zip tie over it to ensure that it wouldn't catch on anything. Held fine until i caught some rope during an offroad venture and it ripped the boot to shreds.

+1 on 906's... I tow my 5x8 enclosed with two race bikes in it couple times a year. Level squat and pulls smooth. 1999 4runner sr5 Stock wheel/tires. Billy 4600's all the way around.

pull the old seal out, cut it on one side with a dremel to give it just enough of a reduced circumference and use it as a seal driver. Use a large socket to tap it against the new seal.
