Hope for the best... If it's not dripping, or coating the undercarriage, my guess is the Castrol GTX worked. Mine went from spraying the undercarriage, to dry. I used a degreaser to clean after the leak stopped, not even a weep since then.

You can get the lift your looking for from the adjustable front 5100's. the rear will only gain .50 -.75" lift from the FJ Springs. You would need a spacer with rear springs to match front lift. Go to 4th Gen forum, there's a sticky at top with the FJ/5100 lift information.

BTW....the source of my leak was also at the little black plastic cover.

I had a similar issue with my 08 V6 @ 163k miles. Thought it was a rear main leak after switching to synthetic oil. Coated the undercarriage, puddles on driveway. Changed oil with Valvoline MAxLife Red, leak stopped after 1,000 miles. Continue to use MAxLife Red, leak free for last 60k miles.
