I custom built a set of kicks for my 2nd gen. Worked beautifully for imaging and staging. And the paint job on them is better than brand new cars you see on the road too....:D As to your second question, doing that would work but it would not be near as good as a set of true kickpanels...

The only dyno proven mod for the 3vze was a jacobs street ignition system. the system netted 8 or 10whp over NEW oem equipment at 3800rpm, where the dyno cut off. Higher up, the gains most likely would have been more. Of course the usual exhaust and most people claim intake. My FIPK did help...
