I want to use this in place of the current amber signal lights in front. I was thinking getting clear lenses instead of the amber currently installed with these strip LED's or something similar mounted behind the lens. Any suggestions?

LED 3rd Taillight I removed the original socket altogether. I still have it just in case the ABS light becomes bothersome but so far it's not an issue. If it does then I will do what you suggested. On another note, I do want to start converting the front lights. I found some I like on eBay but...

LED 3rd Taillight Well, it took awhile but I finally got the light installed and it works and looks great. So far the ABS light has only come on 2 times and I've driven at least a dozen or more times. Seems to intermittant and will be ignoring it for now. Thanks again for your assistance.

Thank you GottaBeTRD for the information. So far I have not had the ABS light come on but we'll see what happens when the 3rd taillight goes in.
