Ouch. How bad did it run with 20/50?

OK. So the red thing with all the lines connected to it is bad I think. When I disconnect the line from the manifold, the idle goes up to a steady 1000. When I reconnect it, it drops and fluctuates between 500-800.

Recent flooding in Northern VA. everyone else turned back while I plowed through at 25. Great fun,playing puddles.

I had to replace the PCV hose because the previous owners poured silicone all over it when it busted in half.

Another reason I want to keep it is because I eventually plan on doing a Cressida 5M 2.8 swap, otherwise I'd rebuild the 3VZE, put a bigger head, aluminum valve covers, and paint it to look pretty.

Other than that, it seems good to go. The idle was floating between 800 and 1000, and that's with my mad Maxed cold air intake, but this line was ****ed so it had a rough blub blub type idle.

So this line busted. The line with fuel running through it. What's that called so I can order it?

lol, holy shit, my charcoal canister wasn't even hooked up to the line off the throttle body on the top. This car was owned by gypsys. Meaning rock hard hoses and superglue to repair said hoses.

3vze. I found a video where the guy tracks his hoses, but his has a different throttle body and some different hose orders I think.

Yea, so today I figured I'd try to do my valve cover gaskets and intake manifold gaskets, however, even though I marked all my hoses I still got them all mixed up. Does anyone have a good well put out and easily explained guide or photo diagrams of the vacuum hose layout? My truck is my daily...

Pulled the front end of the engine apart and started on the water pump. Will be finishing tomorrow, along with a few engine seals. Pics will be up when I have all progress documented. That's one greasy ass engine tbh.
