I have to admit that I was pretty skeptical that both bulbs would burn out at once - they're both pretty new Performance Products Xenon 100/80W. Well, they were burned out only a year after installation. The factory 65/45W still work and are back in. I guess there's a lesson...
The low beams on my '93 4Runner stopped working. High beams work fine in forward and back positions. Fuses under hood are all good. Could the relay next to fuses under hood be the problem? Maybe the switch lever in the steering column? Don't know where to look first. Anyone else had this...

Hey, I think your advice was good - it worked for you. I think spacers will do it, just never used them. Not sure what size, brand, the best place to get them, price, etc??? Are they a good idea? Anyone???

I checked out T100 caps - even non-oem caps were $80 a pair!!! Soooo, I used a 1 3/4 hole saw to cut a nice clean hole in the front caps which clear the dust cover nicely, but the six bolts in the hub (surrounding the dust cap) still prevent the cap from snapping...
