It seems like the RAM is really holding it back. Does anyone know of an updated model coming down the pipe? It’s seems like the standard right now with android 8.1 is higher than 2GB of RAM.

It runs Android as it's OS, but any Android head unit can run Apple Carplay, apps, and everything else. Extremely interested. If this thing is even half decent, I would be in.
