Always on the left coast.........
Wish you were a little closer.......those wheels are a LOT tougher to find in the Midwest!
I would have bought them last week, along with half of the other things you Cali guys have for sale.
Agreed. In my opinion, those are the best-looking 4Runners ever produced. I love the color, the body, the wheels, everything. If only they had still made a 5-speed in '02...........
Not surprising. I see my old 2000 Tundra around town all of the time. It's somewhere over 350K with no issues. Keep them maintained and they'll run forever.
Having swapped between small sedans (Mazda 6, 2-Honda Accords) and larger trucks/SUVs (Honda Pilot, GMC Sierra, 4Runner), the only difference in my daily experience was that I drove the smaller cars a LOT faster.
It is a change at first, but eventually you get accustomed to all of the positives...
Texas
At that price, you could pay to ship it and still make money!
As the driver of a former Texas truck, I can attest to how nice it is when I crawl under it to work. No rust falling all over you!
Glad it's working out for you. It's a pretty simple mod that makes a huge difference.
Did you replace the plastic bushings while you had it out? I got new ones from Marlin Crawler and it shifts like a new car.
URD Short-Throw
There are a few of them out there, but the URD kit is only $110 right now, so I ordered it yesterday. The reviews are pretty positive.
Underdog Racing Development
Welcome to the group. I've had my 2000 for about one month now. Already swapped out a brush guard, changed diff fluids and ordered a short throw kit and new shift bushings today.
You'll find that this is kind of addicting, especially when you see some of the rigs on this forum.
