Thanks for the replies fellas. Oil has been changed every 3000 miles on the dot, and I have a k&n air filter. I'll get my plugs and throttle body cleaned and then go from there.

Ok so for a while now I have been interested in lifting my 4Runner. So to gain some knowledge on all the different ways to lift I read the very informative lift thread that has been provided. From what I have read I think I want to go with the ome lift springs but I have just a few questions...

That's great! I found a white 2wd 97 just a few months ago with 115,500 miles. I commute to college and I've put 7000 miles on it so far. Absolutely love the vehicle.

I noticed that TRD has cold air intakes. But do they have any that will fit the 3rd gen? Will this TRD CAI function well off road? Or are all CAI's for street use only? Thanks in advance!

I have seen a lot of real sweet black billet grilles on here with either Toyota, 4runner or TrD in the center of it. My question is where can you find these that will fit 3rd gens? Is their any company that manufactures them for a decent price? Or do you have to buy them from individuals custom...
