I just did the mod on my 2007 Sport. I used the Blue Splice block. Took all of 5 minutes and no more blinking light. As others have mentioned look for the pink wire with BLACK stripe not pink with blue stripe. Thanks to OP for the write-up!

Bug deflector might have deflected it into your windshield though. I like the Toyota OEM bug deflector on my 4th Gen. Just bought a new one cause the older one was looking a bit weathered.

Probos your post pretty much sums up my thinking. The power, comfort and more "sporty" car like handling could be fun on the day-to-day. Keeping my 2007 Sport as well so I would still have that. We are not "Boobs" for never going off road. I prefer the label "Highway Capable Rig! :biggrin2:
