I agree. I’ve seen some discounts off of MSRP here on the east coast. At the very least, you can get one at MSRP. You could fly to the east coast, have a nice vacation and have your PRO shipped to the west coast and still have thousands left over instead of paying $52K.

Looks to me like they probably bought it just to re-sell it after seeing the desire-ability of the other special colors. Buy it, wait a year, and resell for 10k profit. I guess not a bad deal if you don't mind screwing people over.

I guess I worded it improperly, it's not really screwing people over I guess, but personally it's not something I would do. Either way, I don't see why anyone in California wouldn't fly across country where they're 10k cheaper and bring it back.

thats at a dealership in SF. They Claim it is a CPO or dealer test model, that was bought by them at a higher cost.

No-one is being forced to buy it of course, and I think that reply is old and uninspiring. It's moot anyway if the poster that said it was a dealer is correct. My point was it's not something I would do. Would I take market value if I happened to be selling one? Sure. But there is a difference imo in that and just buying stuff that will be popular just to make someone else pay more. Doesn't make it illegal, or even immoral, it's just capitalism. But say I were to buy all the tickets to a john mayer concert (or whoever you like) and then turn around and sell all of them for a huge markup I'd feel like a dirtbag.

TRD Pro Cement overpriced

That's about $10k over MSRP for California. The only thing they've added are Weathertech floor mats and cargo cover? It looks like a custom car dealer by the looks of the background in the photos. They're in business to make a profit. They will make money if someone pays that price. Does it come with a full warranty? Anyone shopping will probably buy a new one from the dealer.

People who respond to Craig's List ads here in Cali often offer 3/4 of what the asking price is. That's why they raised the price. They're probably hoping to get $52k.
