Thanks again Charlie!! I did a lot of searching and it looks like depending upon year there are different ways to do this "simple" mod. I see some years have an extra unused vacuum line towards the back of the plenum. Others have one in front of the plenum. Some have put nipples on the pipe...

So after removing the airbox and fixing the issue with the igniter module I causes undecided to finally do the intake silencer removal mod. So I do not have the spare capped off line in the back of the plenum. I do not have a spare vacuum line in the front of the plenum either. For the fuel...

So started taking everything apart last night in the freezing cold and looked the wire connections. The MAF connector looked fine then I worked my way down to the ignition module. I started tugging on the plugs with wires and the brown one on the end just came out. I guess I tugged on the air...

Here are some pics I took. Just curious if anyone sees anything. My next step is to take out the air box and intake resonator and try and retrace my steps.

So I got back today and check all the wires and they seemed fine. So truck was running fine before I touched the ISR to change that small piece. The reason I changed it was I believe there was a vacuum leak so I duct taped that piece bc the car wouldn’t start. Similar to what’s happening now...

Thanks for the replies everyone. Sorry was getting dark and on a family trip. I’ll recheck connectors again when I’m back. I’m hoping I just didn’t reconnect that one plug I removed well enough. Will keep you posted.

So truck has been running fine. I was trying to tighten the power steering belt due to a squeak. Since I was working on the truck I decided to put on a new replacement air hose. It’s the large hose(very small section held by 2 clamps at each end) that goes from the throttle body to the air...

Well, unfotunately the weld didn't hold. Went to check up on this during the week and saw the control arm just hanging there. Might try inserting a pipe and welding or scraping the truck. What would you guys do?

Thanks for that. Yeah was going to take a look at everything now and not even sure why that shock boot was ripped down like that. Appreciate everyone's feedback!

Just wanted to close this out. Was able to find a welder and he was able to put a new part on. Now time to tackle the frame rust!
