    KDSS front sway bar replaced...

This the same metal band you guys are having issues with? I have an icon stage 2 lift, 15k miles on it, 20k miles on the 4R. Was planning on just replacing the bushings. Seems like you can just buy and replace?

BRAND NEW Rock Slider Surface Rust Issues

Yeah. BS to have anything start rusting through the PC or "factory" paint. Bare metal will rust (scratches, scrapes, chips, etc) but should not rust through the paint. I'd say they should pay shipping back to them, recoat them and ship them back. Or, just send you new ones for their mistake...

Rigid UltraSwing for 5th Gen 4Runner - Anyone using it?

I just got my ultraswing and looking to add this light. Do you have a pic of your install or any tips? Assuming the wire gets in the way when you swing it open? Or some way to run it that keeps it hidden? Thanks.

    Nitto Ridge Grappler?

The TRD pro wheels I had already ordered just showed up... I was thinking about returning them and going with wider wheels, but I think I'm going to go with 275/70/17 BFG KO2's on the 7 inch TRD wheels. I'm getting concerned about having to do a BMC, and other (what I would consider major) mods...

    Nitto Ridge Grappler?

I really appreciate the thoughtful response. It's so hard to get black and white answers. Seems like everything is personal preference and depends on your personal setup. These tires are quiet / No they're loud. It will rub / it won't rub. 7 inch wheels are fine / don't do it it's dangerous... I...

    Nitto Ridge Grappler?

I don't doubt you at all. But, seems like a lot of people are doing it. Unless they're all running the FN version of the TRD wheels with black OEM center caps? I'm not crazy about the silver center caps that FN offers.

    Nitto Ridge Grappler?

Are those the OEM 7 inch wide TRD wheels? I just bought a set, but have been reading the pros and cons or running 7 inch wheels with 285's.

    Nitto Ridge Grappler?

Thanks for the info. Glad to hear from someone with off-road experience with the non C or E load tires. I've been doing a ton of reading on this and never thought I'd need to know so much about tires. But, I don't want to regret my tire purchase and/or have to buy new tires right away...

    Nitto Ridge Grappler?

They look great! Did you have to do much in terms of trimming to avoid rubbing? Curious what lift you went with. About about to do the same tires, TRD Wheels and sorting out the lift.

    Nitto Ridge Grappler?

I'd appreciate anyone's thoughts on this. Trying to figure out if I should send these tires back and get the C. Talked to a guy at Nitto and he said these are softer and will have a less "harsh" ride on the road than the C and E versions. But, seems like they are a bit less durable for off road use.

    Nitto Ridge Grappler?

I just bought the RG's in 285/70/17 and realized I ordered the version that's not C or E. It doesn't list any play rating. Part #217710 Looks like the difference is that these have 13.5 Tread depth vs. the C and E that have 16.4. And Max load for these is 2756@44. E's are 3195@80. C's are...

Going Bigger - 5th Gen Tire Fitment Guide

Thanks! I've been agonizing over this tire decision because I don't want to have to buy tires twice... Seems like a lot of people go 265, then fairly quickly realize they want 285's. Would you say the Nittos are quieter than the KO2's? I've also been looking at the G2's and the Ridge Grapplers.

Going Bigger - 5th Gen Tire Fitment Guide

Thanks! Any thoughts on how bad the rub would be driving a 2018 TRD ORP home from the tire shop with 285/70/17 KO2's on with no modifications? Also wondering how bad it will effect MPG and anything else. Trying to decide if I go with the stock 265 or 285...

    TerraCrawler's Build Thread

Love the goal zero setup! Have to dig into it more and check out exactly what you did, but looks awesome. Your lift kid looks super rad as well. Do you have any good profile shots of your rig after the lift?

Going Bigger - 5th Gen Tire Fitment Guide

Ha. Maybe I won't up the tire size... No lift yet. Weighing all the options. It's my daily driver, so going down to 11mpg doesn't sit too well. Was thinking about doing a Toytech Boss 3 inch lift, but there's a deal on tires here and thinking I'd get the 285 KO2's on the truck, then do the lift...
