I have the AVH-p3100DVD, and I love the unit. If I could go back and do it again, I would probably get the 4100 or 4200, whichever that is. (The one with the 7" screen and the USB input in the back.) All in all, pioneer does a fantastic job with the double din units they have, from experience.

My 3.0 '95 4x4 Auto has just over 146k on it. No major issues at all. Bought in good condition, maintained, but almost due for a timing belt/water pump. I don't believe it's an interference engine, but don't take my complete word for it.

The 5 1/4s hardly fit in the original box that's in the 4runner. The 6 1/2s will probably be able to fit if you cut it. I fit the 6x9s in there by actually cutting horizontal holes in the back panels. I didn't have the tools so I had somebody at Car Toys do it after I removed the boxes myself...

In my '95, I have Polk db series 6x9s in the back. I brought it to a local shop after taking out the boxes completely and letting the wire harness hang down. They cut holes custom fit directly into the back panels. You can see the 6x9s looking in and they do not get in the way. They don't rattle...
