I need to change out my rear shocks as i am saftying the truck for sale... I found some Napa stuff for 31 dollars a side.. 2 year warentee... But it does not come with bolts and nuts and stuff Does any body know what bolts and nut sizes I need to source out to change them?

I pretty sure my truck will need rear shocks to saftey. I have an aftermarket rear bumper. Toyota parts sales can get me OEM shocks shipped to canada for $98!! I can also Get Rancho RS5000's for $156... My question is , will the stock shocks blow out right away with a heavier rear bumper...

I have had Dura tracs on for 2 months now and i like them so far! I was pretty against them when i first started looking, but they where the only ones with real sipes for the winter and they were always reffered to as more aggresive then the tko's. Also you can get them in a c load range...

As far as the junk yard..... just no, those cars go years without doors or windows, the seats will be moldy. How do you swap them? I assume there is no cutting required?

I changed my lower ball joints because of this thread. I do have some regrets, 1. should have used the larger taco ball joints and TRE's. 2. I know when i picked up the 8 bolts from the dealer for the LBJ's they were very light... learned later that Toyota bolts are made of cheese. Next time...

Actaully that is a good little peice of advice thanks. I could switch the passenger seat out but then they would suffer.. I wonder if anyone has ever gone to one of those apholstry places to get the seat redone? Im going to try to contact one to see what they can do on thursday.

I have a 5spd, My seat, or bottom seat cushion seems to be either worn or tilted towards the driver door. It could be from years using 5000lbs of force to press the clutch pedal down that wears the left side of the seat. Any one know any replacement seats that fit our vehicles? I looked up...

I think if you want to buy a AWD car like a 2012 Ford Explorer, I would consider buying something that's good at something.. Like an Audi A3 TDI, good on gas.. Subaru WRX STI, fun and fast... ETC.. 4runner is a body on frame SUV.... so its not comparable to a car.
