    Correct Stall Speed?

2800 RPM. Yours might be off depending on the condition of the coverter, or the previous owner installed one with a lower stall speed.

    Lifted look w/no lift

I cranked my T-Bars to 2". Looked cool, was cheap to do. Rode like it had no suspension at all. Now their down to below stock height. Rides smooth as glass, and flexes more. I damaged the passenger side T-Bar by cranking it, now it wont tense up, only loosen. It's a dumb way to lift the front end.

    2nd Gen 4R is killing batteries . . . why?

You get an internally regulated alternator wet, bye bye charging system. I'm on my forth before I figured it out.

    Tire and suspention question?

Bilstein 5100 shocks if you got the money. Autozone Gabriel Ultra shocks if you want a cheap fix, with a lifetime warranty. As for the tires, you can't fit 33x12.50's under the truck without modification. That sized tire (or any bigger) will rub on turns. I fit 32x11.50's under mine, but it...

Little brother needs help, wheel bearings/axle problems

The bearings involve removing the tire, and the ADD hub. yes, its a hub, and that where the wheel bearings are held. It will cost you $80 max for new bearings and races, and grease at autozone. Just takes some of your time, there are a few pages on the internet that show you how to do it, and...

93 4Runner: dropping the oil pan

I don't see how your oil pan bolts are blocked by your transmission bellhousing. The only thing I had to get out of the way was the front differential, and for "why-not?" circumstances, the front crossmember. After that, everything was ratchet and socket, came out nice and easy.

to COSTA RICA in my 2nd Gen

I found that you could pretty much take a part the whole truck with these wreches/sockets: 8MM, 10MM, 12MM, 14MM, 17MM, 19MM, 22MM, 24MM. I would carry those wrenches and sockets, with a nice ratchet and a couple of various extensions. I would carry at least another alternator belt, because all...

    1994 3VZE-engine removal

Remove the motor out of the 4Runner without the tranny. After that, drop the tranny out from the bottom of the truck with drivelines disconnected. Drop your front differential. When you install your new motor, bolt the tranny up to it OUTSIDE the truck. use a cherry picker to put the...

    More 95' 4WD problems

I had almost the same problem you have, and at first I thought "Ok, bad CV joint," because thats usually what a bad joint does. Come to find out, the sleeve in the ADD wasnt actuating, because the sleeve in my front diff was toast. After a little research, I came to the conclusion that the only...
