Just a FYI - for mine , the correct P/N is35103-35350 .
I had previously got a 35103-34060 which the counter guy verified as what they showed for a SR5, but the markings are different and in different spots.
Moral of the story is to bring your old one if you can - a bit more difficult if...
Fixed the loose cigarette lighter.
It does not get used except when I test it - daily :D so it bugged me.
Had one from a previous junkyard run.
The new old ghosting is much whiter and brighter than the old one - so much so I pulled it back apart to see if the green ring had come off the bulb...
Same set , same size on our runner.
Thanks for the write up!
I had also noticed the singing - perhaps a year and 8K or so miles in.
I have 22K on them now, and I believe 3 rotations.
They seem a little less sure footed in heavy rain than when new, but that may be in my head. No sense in going...
Played in the water on the way to work.
Heavy rain in SW Houston this morning.
Lots of flooded streets, but nothing that even came up to the running boards - close, but not quite.

What do I win ? :D

Oh, well - can't have it all.

According to the Service Advisor I spoke with at the dealer that Toyota says sold the battery, Toyota warranty requires a copy of the original invoice.
Fine - you can pull that up, right ?
Well, according to this guy the Repair order number on Toyota's...
The Toyota battery in our 4 Runner is getting weak - you can hear the sound difference now when starting. The P.O. had it replaced by a dealer 08/11 and the battery has 84 months in big red letters on the case, so I assume that is the warranty duration.
I also assume it is a pro-rated...
I think the 01s & 02s get an electric hydroboost setup.
With that fancy electric pump under the hood that is quite pricey.
I am on my phone so cannot readily post a pic, but based on that am happy with my conventional brake setup.
Britt
I am not a fan , either ...
But still have them on as they do come in handy for passengers.
Take em off before offroading to keep them pretty for later.
Of course, if you take em off and put real armor on there...
One day, one day.
Oh, well - removal is free.
Good luck !
Britt
Bath and wax today.
Trying to decide if attempting to mask the oval Toyoyta emblems in the hubcap would be worth it, or to say Eff it and paint them solid silver.
Either way, I am sure the feeling will pass once it is dirty again.:decision:
