I don't know what my temps get to. I do I know I live in Southern AZ where it commonly hits 100F in the summer time. And my T4R will have close to 500lbs of armor on it soon. And I managed to pick the lightest thinnest ATF for my fluid. Doesn't seem to be a good mixture?

Thanks, I was thinking along the same theme. Except most people don't put 500lbs of steel on their vehicle and drive in crazy places in southern AZ when it's 100 degrees outside. Makes me think I should use higher quality thicker viscosity stuff?

My local dealer said it's p/n 35103-35350, which is also what was listed earlier in this thread. It looks like it's the right one even though it has a description of "Gage Sub-Assembly Trans". So I ordered it ... will post the results here. Hopefully the bottom part of my old stick fell into...

The NAPA axle is installed. Phew! Would be easier with another set of hands. I took it for a short test drive, and so far so good. I will check everything over again tomorrow and then go for a longer drive. The nut on the new axle is a castle nut, and is no where near 35mm like the original...
