Hello, We are looking to get 4runner this coming winter. I have read new 4runner will have new V6 engine and (new tranny?). From research looks like they are coming to dealer end of 2017 or early 2018. 1. Is this same engine in new Tacoma? Is it good as 4.0 V6? Or should i stick with 4.0 V6...

Have you try ride in other 4runner? Everyone has diff taste imo, do i think my ride is rough? yes, but my fiance doesn't think that. Maybe try new shocks? If you are going to try new shocks, skip KYB/monroe. I do have those and it feels just like stock which i like :D

Noise stuff is very hard to help thru online. Everyone here will throw their "guessing". If that noise is bothering you, your best bet is take it to local shop to check around for you. But here is what i will look for if i do hear noise, 1. make sure all the bolts are tight (shocks, swaybar...

I did bedding brake on my other vehicle. But didn't do on 4runner, since i do not feel it needs to. But here is how to do and there are many info " why". Instructions for bedding in your brakes

If it is certified pre-owned vehicle, dealer should cover you under warranty (Any dealer). Certified Program If i were you, i will try flush brake fluid and see if that helps. Make sure no air in it.

Not that I know of. All my money spent on 4runner was just maint stuff. -oil change (dino:3k~4k)(syn:4k~5k)/air filter -replaced serp belt once -replaced battery two times -replaced plugs once -tranny/diff replaced two times -replaced tires two times. -replaced shock/strut once -replaced left...

Sure :surfer: Since my car is already there, i'm going to replace shock as well. I've been running blown rear shock for many milies. They putting monroe shocks/struts so we'll see. :bluejump:

Well I just didn't have enough time. But u know what chris? I never had this hard time to buying a tires. I went to DT and manager told me yoko geo is 7xx OTD. I told them about other two DT price and he said sale is end yesterday. I'm like ok.. At same time, first firestone manager called me...

I just went to one firestone and they told me I have to wait 2~3 hours today. So I called couple other place near my fiance's house and one being a jerk and other one quoted me 1/3 more $ than first place. Oh well i guess I will check discount tires now. Lol
