I'm in between the 4Runner and tacoma. Both will suit my needs. No real need for a bed, aside from loading gear into the bed (skis, mountain bikes) but other than that would probably put topper shell on a Tacoma.
Truck v. SUV debate aside...
For prior Tacoma owners, what pushed you to move to...
Thanks for that quick feedback on the initial feedback you’ve had since your switch from the F150. I’m shopping between the T4R, Subaru Outback and WRX. I know drastically different than your prior experience and 3 entirely different vehicles.
Anyways, regarding power it sounds like you’re...
Sent you a PM. Don’t get wrecked by Stevenson on that price for a 2019, glad you walked away.
Submit the inquiry through Costco auto buying program. Get the quote from your Costco auto buying partner dealer. They’ll send you a quote over email and you can ask the sales person to confirm your...
Got it. You and I are in the same time frame. Turn your radius to 'any' distance and look what they're going for across the country. I've found some 20's in the 42-44k range. Probably a realistic assumption before you walk into the doors to haggle.
I'd go for the ORP for the reasons you listed above.
I would save the markup, and put the money into the ORP non-KDSS for a higher quality suspension setup. With those savings, you could do the TRD + Nitto setup with a high quality coil over setup and have a far superior suspension setup for...
Patience. I would say late-October early/mid-November your options will begin to populate. Keep in mind, inventory managers are most concerned with pushing '19's off and fill in 20's as they can get them... at least that was what I was told at Mountain States Toyota in Denver.
They're saying...

These dealers are in Denver, CO:
2019 OR - $35632
2019 ORP - $36232
---
2020 ORP - $39505
They couldn't give me any 2020 OR pricing, as they have to have this...

Going shop around this weekend. What do you all think of this pricing I got from one of 3 dealers I’m looking at through their USAA member pricing?

MSRP: $41,407
$36925 before tax/dealer fee

I’m shopping around now and I stopped by to Stevenson Toyota West in Denver, CO to ask this very question. Rep there told me well qualified sees between 4.45-5.2% depending on credit through Toyota financing. Their claim was due to the volume and popularity they push of the T4R that they don’t...
