Don't go to any chain shop, they have high turnover so their "techs" are usually a lot less skilled. Talk to local performance shops, find out who does alignments for the local race cars and performance crowd. You will pay a bit more but the people working on your rig will be a lot more skilled.

As far as "not needed", it depends on if he has 4.10s or 4.30s... 4.10s with 33 will be very undergeared,
