hi. i just installed the oemvalue nav to my JBL 4runner. i did splice the speed and reverse wire and placed them on #3 5 as instruced (great instruction thread BTW). My question is this? How will i know if the wires are truly connected? what would the nav do if they werent connected?? also...

just ordered my nav unit through oemvalue.com it seams the JBL HU is wider than the nav unit. is this the case? do i need to purhcase some sort of bracket to fill the void (left and right) if there is a void. can any1 pls post pics of the nav unit in their 05 4runner. the currnent JBL unit is...

i too have this same problem. i took it to the dealer and they said this "clunking" after stopping is normal. he even mentioned it before we took him for a ride to demonstrate the noise. it annoys the heck out of my wife (her car). my other car (not toyota)had the same problem and they reset...

does anyone know the model number for the solaris nav unit. OEMvalue.com doesnt seam to be selling any more and they have not returned any of my emails. i guess my only option would be to call the dealership and see how much they cost from them. is there any other place to purchase these nav...
