Ok so pulled starter almost all the way but did not unbolt engine and lift to get completly out. Now the engine will hand crank back and forth about 1 and half feet at the end of a 1 1/2 foot wrench. If that makes any sence. We can hear it hitting something when it stops? Any advice? Thanks...

Still haven't been able to pull starter yet.. but will b doing so tonight. I am thinking its locked to the flywheel....hopefully!!
