Not impossible but time consuming and super important you have some hog ring pliers and extra hog rings to make your life easier. A 6 pack of beer will easy your pain too

Remove the link and zip tie it so it doesn’t contact the cv boot if you’re just going around the block

c1340 has to do with the center differential circuit. You have a possible bad switch, open/short in the harness or a malfunction with your 4wd ecu. Calibrating will not fix this issue
