Did you replace just the rear tailgate assembly and moved everything over? There are sales right now on the tailgate only for $625 which isn’t horrible. I think I’m able to fix it myself but waiting for winter to end. Part below:

Does your clunk sound happen when you brake? I have slight millimeter of movement in my brake pads when in reverse and applying the brakes. When I took it in, we all thought it was movement in the frame or suspension but found it in the brake pads.

Are the LED lights brighter than stock? I don't know if I want to go towards HID yet.

What is the best way to remove this panel? I have some leftover SEM spray paint from my radio dash install and want to paint this entire piece black to match. I assume I don't need to remove anything except the panel pieces around the air control similar to what you do on the radio installs?

I could see this becoming a software add-on where you could choose whether you want Entune or your specified phone hooked up. I am considering the new Alpine iLX-107 as an upgrade to get my Apple Carplay. I only have the stock head unit without navigation and don't mind ripping it out though.

Would spraying it using SEM's Factory Coat along with it's cleaning / clear coat products be a viable alternative? I have a stock SR5 and the silver gray on the top doesn't look as good. My second option is to wrap it, which might be easier but worried about it's long term conditions.

Be cool to hear the cost of the box. Sounds like there is interest here, might be a good side business for your custom installer! What is the box made out of? Looks like a similar vinyl that the charcoal gray interior has in the rear compartment.
