ok so im all fixed up, it turns out that the problem was a bad air/fuel ratio sensor. everything seems to be ok now. it did however cost me 270.00$ before it was all said and done. Thanks for the tips.

ok just left the auto parts store. the code that showed up is p1135 could this be an o2 sensor? also when the vsc/trac off lights come on does this mean they are inoperable?

I just purchased an 02 T4r and i love it. I have driven it 500 miles and the check engine light came on as well as the vsc, trac off. I have ordered a manual from toyota, but at the time i had no prblems. can anyone let me know what this means? i would greatly appreciate it.
