    !!Doug Thorley Headers 4.7L V8!!

I did this a couple weeks back and did get the DTC does (think P0420 and P0430) that corresponded to the cats not operating at the correct efficiency. Put some spacers on my downstream O2 sensors and the codes have stayed off...that being said they only do a visual check here in NC to see if you...

    Help fitting 255/80 r17s

Thanks, I think a 1\2" spacer probably would have done the trick....think I will have to budget for some wheels similar to yours in the near future. Have some follow-up calls to make tomorrow on the body mount chop and plan on going through with it to make sure I can get this back off-road...

    Help fitting 255/80 r17s

Thanks, sounds like your lift is about where I need to be. Think I will be close to the 3" mark if I bump up one more notch on the front struts.

    Help fitting 255/80 r17s

Hi Everyone, After having put in JBA upper control arms, and redoing the suspension with Bilsten 2.3" springs in the rear, and 5100s up front with what I believe are FJ springs. From what I can tell using a tape measure this has lifted and leveled me a little over 2.25" all the way around...

Help - sheared bolts in head

Thanks for the suggestion. What are you using for heat? I have a benzomatic propane torch, but haven't had any luck. Was thinking of picking up an oxy-map torch but am concerned that might be too hot and damage/warp the surface of the head.

Help - sheared bolts in head

Still no luck...the studs that were protruding are now breaking off and Im getting closer to having to drill. The problem is, even with an offset drill I dont have enough clearance. Thinking if I can just disconnect the engine mount, I can jack up the engine a couple inches to get at it, but...

Help - sheared bolts in head

So this afternoon I thought I would do a simple valve cover gasket replacement. Unfortunately, in the process 6 bolts sheared off. 4 of them are sticking out from the head enough I think I can get them with heat and vice grips. However, 2 are just slightly above flush with the head and need to...

Looking for shop near Charlotte NC to help with exhaust

Hi everyone, Think I've found a pair of Doug Thorley's for my '05 v8 and wanted to see if anyone had recommendations for a shop that could help with the install including welding on the cats. Any help is appreciated. Thanks
