I know this thread is a little dated but is anyone running the Multi fit version on a 5th gen? Rigd said it would work but just stick out an inch farther than the 4runner one.

Mine wasnt making any noise but changed to ECGS anyway because of the 2.5 lift i put on it. Its been about 10k and still going good

I second that!! Installed the Dr. KDSS on my 2021 and wish i would have done it a year and a half ago. The ability to turn it off on a washboard road is huuuge. You can now have your cake and eat it too!!

Where did you get these? sounds like the perfect size.

I have both. 06 Sport with 165k and a 21 ORP with 20k. The 4th gen is lighter, gets better MPG, and just feels more solid. Dont get me wrong i love the 21. Cant bring myself to get rid of either of them. maybe i should get a 3rd gen also.

I second that. Needle bearing is garbage. The CV is sloppy off the lot new. As soon as i put a lift on it i swapped out with the ECGS bearing. No more slop

Finally added some 275/70s. And yes it rubbed on the fender and mudflap with UCAs and 2.5 lift. Easily fixed but rubbed way more than i thought. FN FX Pro Wheels at 0 offset. The difference in looks from 265 to 275 is staggering. I love it!
