I just topped off, after driving hilly, winding, fast road, in and out of O/D. Used 4wd twice for about a mile each time, for 17.89 MPG. (205.6 mi/11.488 gals) When I was commuting 28 miles each way, highway speeds, I averaged 21. Retirement is costing me 3 MPG, I guess.

intermittent miss #4 I had a cel indicating an intermittent miss on #4. When i changed the plugs and wires, I found a broken wire end. The boot shows some arcing. Plugs had 35k on them, i think the wires were original. All issues seem resolved. Sorry, having trouble sending pics. Dick

Unless you have hubs, I think I'd rent a two-wheel dolly, and get the front wheels off the ground.

After 8 tanks, I don't think I am gaining any MPG's. 19.2 every time, but it shifts nice, so if I'm not hurting anything, I'll leave it on.

I'm new to 4 Runners, and still finding cool stuff every day. I thought I'd change the cabin air filter. Can't find it in the book. Is there such a thing? Previous owner smoked, and I'm trying everything I can to rid the interior of the smell. 92K miles worth of smoke isn't going easily...
