Cabin air filter for a '99

I'm new to 4 Runners, and still finding cool stuff every day. I thought I'd change the cabin air filter. Can't find it in the book. Is there such a thing?
Previous owner smoked, and I'm trying everything I can to rid the interior of the smell. 92K miles worth of smoke isn't going easily! Has anyone got any ideas?

Ha, I have a small bottle of that in my center console as well! And a giant bottle on my desk at work. It's a good conversation piece.

After I quit smoking, I used the Arm and Hammer vacuum powder to get the smell out of my truck. It took several rounds over a couple months to get it all.

One of my buddies who used to do car detailing said If you fill a container with vinegar and put it under your seats, leaving it uncapped while the car isn't moving it will do the same... I always just figured that was kinda trading one scent for another

Scotty Kilmer uses Lysol

I watched Kilmer's video where he turns the AC on full blast and sprays Lysol into the vents between the hood and the windshield. I tried it and I think it worked great:

Scotty also has some kind of activated charcoal or something that he used in one of his videos. I don't remember what it was called...

Try this, it's worked for me in the past. Clean the interior super well. Wipe everything down, vacuum everything you can get to, clean out the air vents, glovebox, literally everything. The ash gets into it all and smells. Then do as the other member said and put a bowl of vinegar in the floorboards while you are parked. Vinegar absorbs smells. The smell of the vinegar won't stay. I also put dryer sheets all over the car. Just some suggestions on what worked for me.
