It sounds like all that "Living life on the edge" may have caused you to burn out / damage your fuel pump. Modern fuel pumps rely on gas in the tank to cool them. If you chronically run them low, they wear out much faster.

Thanks for the feedback gentlemen. Real sliders are definitely in my future. I tossed some el-cheapo Tyger nerf bars on there on there so my wife could easily get into the truck and now she doesn't use them. That's going to have to wait until I get the stock Yokohoma Geolanders off.
