Thanks for the strong response in replies. At this moment I am strongly considering Shoreline Blue Pearl. Here is why. I feel that the contrast that the black trim provides is outstanding. Add in tinted front windows and black powder coat rims and this vehicle will have a striking look.

Interesting!I guess just compared to my 92 Jeep Cherokee everything is going to seem like it has a blind spot.

When I was test driving a TE 4runner it seemed that the blind spot was pretty large. Is anyone doing anything about this or noticed this too?

From what I've seen the powder coat rims dont show dirt as much as a black vehicle. It will be clean when its in town. Plus I dont like black on black. I just dont want it to show the fine dust that usually shows on dark vehicles.

It will get washed just not 2 times a week. I'm definatly getting the rims powder coated black as well as tinting the driver and passenger windows. I'm thinking the shoreline blue would look SWEET with that setup.

I'm having a hard time deciding which color to get. My dealer wants a color preference on which TE to try and find. I have seen the black TE and red TE and have decided that I dont want either of them. So its between the Grey, Silver, and Shoreline blue. Which color would you guys/gals...

I'm definately interested. Granted I dont own a 4R yet but will soon. I want something that can hold all my hunting/camping gear on top. Maybe even big enough to carry Tipi poles.
