yep we resurfaced ourselves. me and my dad checked it for an warping with this straight edge and this metal gauge.it wasnt warped at all really, the gasket blew between the center two cylinders

So I blew a head gasket in my '87 runner. It only took me two days to replace it, the head didn't warp thank god. When I finished I took it out for a drive an it has never ran better. Ill post pics of the job as soon as I can.

i live out in pearland i now tons of places to go down here not much for trails... but plenty of mud holes and i would love to get a group together some time and go out wheelin.
