Did you guys do any rust proofing at all? Like oiling every year or so?

It is believed that rotor resurfacing makes them thiner and they warp easily after that. I would replace rotors as well. IMHO.

Do you have an air suspention by chance?

On your #2: You can erase all remotes from ECU memory. Then program only those that you have. It must be 30 min job (28 min searching the net and 2 min. actual programming). Try to Google it. At least, in this case they will not be able to disarm your factory alarm.

+1. My V8 with X-REAS and air suspention fills just like a luxary car on the highway. No bouncing whatsoever and excellent tracking. Look at your shocks.

I would say morden expensive cars store odo reading in 5-7 places. ODO reset means nothing. There are shops that should be able to find out if everething was reset (which probably impossible in this case) and they will be able to correct your odo reading as well.
