Mine seems a bit oily too and like a yellow oil in some spots. Changed all of my o2 sensors already, just looking for air leaks, bad filters etc now. Just had the engine changed so it's driving me crazy after spending so much.

Hi everyone. Trying to figure out my p0420 and p0430 on my v6. I took out the air fliter and notice there is an extra filter that seems to be permanent after it. It looks super dirty and I was winder is it OK to just cut it out or can it be removed and cleaned? Thanks, Rich

I got the sensors and they're good but the code now isn't for the sensors they replaced, it looks like it's for another one. Didn't have any codes before the engine replacement.

Actually after looking p0137 bank 1 sensor 2 is a downstream sensor not one of the upstream I had replaced. Don't know why this one suddenly gives me problems? Maybe it's reading something bad from one of the upstream ones?

Thanks for the reply.I had a shop replace the upstreams for me, the one that just replaced my engine. Maybe loose connection or the threads like you said. Or maybe loose vacuum line somewhere. I do have a good scantool that I borrowed. Not sure how to check what I need. But I'll try to figure it out

Yes they used a scope and did a compression test, but nothing. They're first thought was a spring or valve. Now they have no idea but just say they're sure it's internal. But everything looks fine. Don't really want to go to the dealer.
