Not sure what you mean when you say, "from what I gather here that may not be the case." The 4Runner is one of the most dependable vehicles on the road. The third row seat just isn't very convenient/practical.

I bit the bullet and ordered one of Burtman's 2/2 kits today. Should be here at the beginning of next week. Definitely post results once you've got yours installed and---most importantly--aligned!

Were you still able to get alignment within factory specs with Burtman's 2/2 or 2/1.5 kit on a TRD Pro? I wasn't sure if that amount of extra front lift while keeping the factory UCAs would create any alignment issues?

I did the full interior LED swap, and I highly recommend it. The OEM interior bulbs are terrible.
