4runner TRD Pro

Picked up 2017 TRD Pro White on Friday after a bit of a wait. On the way home from dealership noticed a noise in the rear driver side wheel well. After looking at it appears that rear shock is almost touching the frame. Compared it to rear passenger side and there is significantly more space. Taking it back to dealer next week to take a look. Anyone have similar issues with the TRD Pro?

Any update on this fix??? Buddy just picked up his trd in cement and same issue.. Dealer had no clue what's wrong and how to fix but did acknowledge something is not right

Also just picked up 2017 TRD Pro White on Friday. Exact same noise coming from rear driver side. The dealership called tonight and asked how everything was going and I told them about the noise. I'm planning on taking it in to the service department tomorrow. Sort of disappointing.

can you confirm that the jack is tightened against the bracket that holds it?

The jack is just behind the rear driverside wheel well, and if it's loose at all, it makes a racket

Ok, this may or may not help. I can't remember which side it is but I believe it is drivers side for fuel neck access. There is a flap that can come loose in the fender well and makes a lot of noise. This happened to my 2015 Pro. The tech just re-screwed the plastic fender well flap down and noise gone for good.

Ordered a 2/2 Cornfed spacer lift kit for my 2016 Pro from Jason Burtman and just got it installed.

Received word today that I have a port date of 3/8 to Houston. Rep said 5-7 days after it will be here in Tulsa. :clap2::clap2::clap2:

Looks great, what kit did you buy? I bought XenonDepot HID's, Toytec spacers, vinyl overlays, and none have been installed yet. :/ I'm slacking.

I got the XenonDepot as well. I did all the interior lights, license plate, and reverse lights. Still waiting on the Xtreme HID 4300k kit for the headlights.

Also ordered Canvasback cargo liners, and some all weather mats. Next up is tint for the front windows, and I think I'm going to paint the roof rails until I decide on a roof rack.

I'm out on the coast in Grays Harbor, 5 Star Toyota. It is my local hometown dealer. Quite a ways from you and samster747, but the two of you are the few I've seen posting that are arriving in our area. I think I may have seen one other, plus someone posted about Titus Will in Tacoma if someone was still looking. But my timeframe is close to the two of your so I was just curious.

Do you have yours now. Mine has been delivered and I'm picking it up tomorrow.

Not sure if this was the right fix because it don't sound right but dealer decided to cut the wheel well right above the shock to give it clearance.. Sounds like a easy way to fix but I feel like that wasn't the real issue
