    1989 Rear Window Help

If you use two 5 pin relay switches it will work. However you will loose functionality of the rear wiper. You can't use a relay on the rear wiper or you will loose the "park" feature on the wiper. I would suggest you go online to ebay and find a used relay. I had installed the 5 pin relays...

    Hose burst, Oil everywhere?

Without pictures, I would assume since it is a hose with a hole, it would be a power steering hose that busted and spewed.

Thanks Kid, I will give them a little longer. I was trying to order so I could get it here by Monday and give it to my son for his 15th birthday. He is getting 4runner parts for his birthday.

I called Cruiser Outfitters this morning. They had to "check stock" and would return my call. But, I didn't realize it would take all day? They never called back... Does anyone have a customer service oriented vender they prefer?

If I had the complete backer board on my drivers side, I would not hesitate to have them re-covered.

Yes, I bought the first set you posted. They are exact what I had. I do have the passenger panel that is in usable shape if you need one. I mainly needed the driver side, mine fell crumbled in my hand. The electric window version is different than roll up. You said rears??? Rear what? All...

I was searching online and eBay for interior door panels and found a nice set identical to what these door panels USED to look like... So, I shelled out an exorbinate (sp) amount of money and they are on the way. Seller also happen to have the rear window/wiper control relay for $50.00. Looks...

    Crawler's 88 Rebuild Thread

Here is what we are starting with. A completely stock 88 4Runner. The engine is a 3V-Slow and oil pours out faster than you can pour it in. So, after researching, we decided to search for a better engine. I found a 5VZ with 60k or less miles. Used 1995 T100 ECU on the way to control...

From what I read, the A340 transmission will bolt right up. The only issue that they have is the speed sensor for the auto trans. If you use a 95-98 T100 ECM this will not be a problem. I have a Japan engine on the way and also have a ECM from a 1995 T100 with 5vz and auto 4x4 on the way...

Well, I am learning real quick about toyotas... I understand the 3.0 isn't the best engine out there. So, I have found a 3.4 5vze-fe and we will be doing an engine swap. Wish me luck!

Yup . When you say 99% street, is he going to be wheeling it at all? If not, my "opinion" ;) is to leave it stock - don't see the point in going to all the modding effort if you ain't gonna walk the walk, and a stock truck rides better on the street and is easier to maintain. If he will be...
