For C-rated tires, you should follow the PSI rating on the label inside your door jamb. Or you can call Michelin/BF Goodrich and they will advise you the correct pressure for your 4Runner/tire combination. Customer service will gladly answer your questions.

This is correct. E-rated tires require higher pressure. Feel free to call Michelin/BF Goodrich to confirm this. Customer service will happily verify this for you. I have 275/70 R17 E-rated KO2's on my 2016 with over 55k miles on them and plenty of tread left. No issues at all.
