Just an FYI but I did the same thing on my Tacoma and the rotors were good for about 5k after being turned. Not sure if they took off too much or what it was but I ended up buying new ones...and then selling back to Toyota a couple months later...

I haven't done it yet (06 V6 37k) but am seriously considering it. What I plan to do is drain out the old fluid, remove/clean the pan and add back the amount of fluid that I took out. Do you know if there is a filter in there?

I think the one that comes with it is the best but you can't get them over here any more. Take that one apart and you'll notice a difference. I change the Mobil 1 every 10k and the D3 every 5k.

Why didn't you just ask for a new battery?

Make sure you keep the waterpump fresh...when they start leaking it makes a mess. Some genius put the distributer underneath it. Fun cars though.

Was wondering if anybody has used the 90915-YZZD3 on their 3.4l? Wanted to buy a case to use on my wife's 4runner but also wanted to use them on my 3.4l taco if possible. Thanks

Not sure if flushing or changing the fluid will help your shifting problem although a fluid and filter change wouldn't hurt. Maybe have the filter/fluid change done at another dealership and also have them drive it and take a look at your issues. If they find an issue take that to your...

You can use simple green to get that blue stuff off. I used that when I put BFGs on my tacoma. If you don't mind, would you send me a pic ([email protected]) before you put on the OME? I plan on getting those tires for my wife but not the OME. Thanks a bunch.
