You don't need the relay harness it's pretty simple plug and play. I have the same kit and you don't see anything but the wires going into the hole you cut into the factory cover but they all require that. The ballast are hidden up under the fender trim.

The battery itself is $399 before rebate/core charge. Seems like selling the kit w/o a battery makes more since?

Last year I looked at them as I was shopping a Tacoma but they didn't offer it for a 4runner. They are nice.

The dealers makes more $$$ off people vs warranty. Sounds like they just want you to pay for it even though it's a warranty repair. The power train warranty is 5/60. Please don't pay a dime to them.
