C4 Fab 4Runner Ladder Prototype

Heres some updates for everyone!

We got the first ladder powder coated and installed. We are going to put some miles on it for a little while and make sure we use it a lot and see if we run into any issues.
So far everything is great on it, fitment is tight and the ladder assembles easily.
Ladder fits with Frontrunner roof rack and CBI swing out bumpers. The ladder also fits with our new rear bumper that we will be putting into production soon!

Here are some photos.
Maybe time for another update?

We will be installing a couple more of these ladders soon so we can get some more use out of them before putting them into production.
We would like to offer a Pre-Order soon.

Do we have any information on what the price would be? I may not be able to afford the pre-order, but I am already working on my 2019 budget. This is high on the list (second only to a SnoMaster Traveller Series).

Hey everyone, we have installed a few of our ladders and we are currently in the testing phases of a couple accessories for them. We want to be sure that everything is good to go before we open up a pre order.

We will be getting more photos and marketing content put together soon, but for now here is a few photos of one we installed last week.

This one is shown with our optional bolt on side steps, RotoPax mount and there are also a couple QuickFist mounts attached to the right side for mounting a shovel, axe or similar accessory.

All of the accessories shown can basically be mounted just about anywhere on the ladder on the inside or outside of the upright side plates. The slotted hole pattern down each side of the ladder makes it easy to attach different items.

The ladder itself is fully made from aluminum and all hardware is stainless. The top and bottom mounting plates that attach to the hatch of the 4runner are made from steel for strength purposes.

The ladder is 100% bolt on, no drilling or cutting of any kind required!

We are hoping to have pricing established and possibly open up a pre-order by the end of July.

Thanks for the update. Looks fantastic!!! Can’t wait to see one in person. Good luck with the rest of the testing!

Had my name in on a Gobi ladder but this has my attention. More functionality and lighter weight has me sold. I’m in.

Looks fantastic!! How much longer? My rack is lonely without a ladder
Hoping to have them ready for a Pre-order around the end of July!

Thanks so much, we appreciate it!

Great! Our ladder actually isn't lighter than a Gobi, its about the same weight. But it is aluminum so you don't have to worry about rust and it is definitely more functional. It was designed with accessories and attachments in mind so that it would be easy for the end user to add and arrange items as they need.
Plus all of the accessories look like they "belong" on the ladder as opposed to all of the bolt on attachments for the Gobi that use an excessive amount of large hardware that just doesn't flow with the product.
