I just picked up an '11 Limited 4Runner with the 20" wheels. I'd like the 17" SR5 wheels instead. If anyone in the Denver/Front Range area wants to swap, contact me. Even if you have some miles on your stock tires, that's ok, I'm really just after the rims as I'll putting putting new shoes on...

That would make a HUGE difference in my thinking. On my other Toyota's, ATRAC does NOT limit throttle- it only applies the brakes to prevent wheels spinning and power from going to the spinning wheel- which is, afterall, the purpose of 4WD. So 4WD would be next to worthless without ATRAC on both...

Thanks. ATRAC is not limited to LO-only on the other vehicles. I'm still puzzled by this and it is the reason I assumed it ought to be on by default, negating any reason for an on/off switch. BTW, can anyone think of a situation where you would want TRAC off, but VSC on?

HELP! This is not making any sense to me. I have an '02 Land Cruiser. It is always in 4wd mode with ATRAC. You cannot turn it off. I have an 07 Tundra. It is 2WD until you put it in 4H or 4L. That locks the center diff and turns on ATRAC. There is a button to turn off VSC, but not ATRAC. Now...

Well, they do make the Blizzaks in 245/60R20. That's what I'm planning to get. I'm just wondering if I should get another size rim, ditch the Dunlops, and put an entirely different tire on in the summer. Any thoughts on the stock Dunlop's? What do people think is the best tire for the ltd? I...

You're right. But the approach/departure angle is still different. It is 33/26 for the Trail and 25/24 for Ltd 4x4. Why is that?

Yup- set of snows and set of ATs. Or maybe just road tires instead of ATs. I'm open. The 4runner won't see a lot of offroad. I found the LTX ATs to be perfect in terms of off road capability/on road handing for me.

Hello all. New to the forum, but not Toyota. I pick up a new '11 limited 4runner (blizzard pearl) on Tues to add to our '02 Land Cruiser and '07 Tundra. I'm running Michelin LTX AT2's on both the Tundra and Cruiser. These are best ATs IMHO. We drive to a cabin up in the mountains all winter...
