Bilstein 5100 adjustables with stock springs

I have used the compressor tools before, but they scare the hell out of me. I'm checking with some of the guys around work who do auto work on the side to see if anyone has a wall mounted compressor in their garage. Here's to hoping.

Bilstein 5100 adjustables with stock springs

These don't specify if they are tundra or tacoma, they description says 3 position so I'm assuming tacoma, I found them under 4Runner parts. It's $173 for the set of fronts, which is as good of a price on 5100s as I've found anyhow. Worst case, if I'm not happy I could always get some OME...

Bilstein 5100 adjustables with stock springs

Anyone run this? I'm only looking to get an extra 1-2 inches anyhow and I came across these. They have an adjustable collar for up to 2.5 inches of lift. They say you can just run stock springs with them. I've looked up other threads and haven't seen anyone running them, I've read that if you...

Any way you could message me on how to test the pressure? I've got tools and pretty good mech knowledge, even if most of it was on humvees. I try and do all my own non emergency work.

I'm familiar with contacts, just found a good deal on a new one. Plus I didn't have to return the old one so I can fix it up and sell it or have a spare in case of a bad case of my luck.

New to the group and looking for advice I've been lurking around here a while and thought I should introduce myself and my truck. I bought her around July, a 96 SR5 with 130k on the clock. One owne, clean body and interior. I paid 3000 and haven't looked back. There are a few issues I've had...

Ok I am new to 4Runners and need some advise. I have a guy who wants $2750 for a 96 VR5 4Runner 3.4L, 192k. It does have some rust and a squeaking belt. The antenna is missing and a LOT of the dash lights are out. :lookout:
