Star safety system has been standard in all toyotas for at least 6 years now. TSSC/P is completely different then star safety system.

So would you like to wager? I said end of 2017. Not model year. By end of 2017 the Tacoma and tundra will have TSSP standard. It's a game changer in the industry. The 4Runner won't have it because they won't be redesigning it.

No you are incorrect. I said end of the year, not every 2017 model year.. By end of 2017 all models will have some form of TSS. Smaller cars will have TSSC and anything corolla or bigger will have TSSP.

Yes. It most likely won't be redesigned. It will probably be cut by 2020 at the latest. Apparently we may see the Toyota Prada over here to replace it, but that I'm unsure of.

I will bet you 10k that they will not. The 4Runner will not be redesigned until MAYBE 2019-2020. Most likely those will be the final years for this truck.
