I'm sure there was a prior thread on this but can't locate it. I had to purchase a hitch ball yesterday to mount on my OEM hitch and the while the lock washer was crushed into normal position, the ball itself was still able to spin around. Is there a "special" hitch ball we need for the OEM...

A couple of years ago, I was selling a Mercedes and experienced something similar. The scammer sent me a check that was for more than the purchase price under the guise that extra would be for shipping the vehicle. I was instructed to send the difference to an address for the shipping company...

The nav issue will hopefully be resolved shortly. The dealer "agreed with my diagnosis" and has ordered the nav dvd update. The 20.5 mpg was done with about a 50/50 split with cruise control on/off with A/C on for about half the time. Beyond that, can't really explain it...but I'll take it....

Hi Folks, Don't know if anyone else experienced this but here goes. Loaded up the family to go from just outside Hartford, CT to Washington DC for a few days. Cruising for about an hour, didn't even hit the NY border and the nav shows that I'm in the middle of nowhere. OK, really overcast so...

He read thru a list of stuff, most of which was "inspect" a bunch of stuff. The list was basically what I've seen from other owners on this site. I was surprised at the price.

I have the Yakima KingPin 4. Mounts to the hitch in about 10 seconds, bikes fit easily and quickly. To the point above, easy to work on the bike when it's in the rack. Didn't want to have to climb for the roof rack. However, does slightly block visibility when loaded with 4 bikes.

I have a 2002 MB CLK 430 and have had no problems whatsoever. Of course, it only has 7,800 miles on it.... However, now that I have an 06 V8 Limited, I really don't see the need to keep it. It is for sale for $35,000 if anyone is interested. Details and pics...
