I'm tempted to do that grommet mod. I worry that anything altered would void any warranty if something else associated to the fuel system goes bad. Even if the mod is obviously not a fault.
Still, I bought a new vehicle with hopes that I wouldn't be turning any wrenches on it for some time.
I checked the cabin filter, a little dirty but not bad. The vehicle has less than 7k miles on it, so I wouldn't expect this to be an issue yet. I'm thinking the condensate drain is clogged somehow (anyone know where it is?). I'm in Phx AZ though and humidity isn't something we have much. July...
Starting my 2nd hot season with my 2010. I'm frequently getting nasty mildew odor from the vents now. It's worse when it's bringing in outside air. Anyone else having this problem?
2010 2WD model with about 5600 miles. Noticed a "whrrring" noise around 2000. Not there on start up, is there after 15 mins of driving, more pronounced in drive.
At my 5k service I mentioned it and they blame it on valve train noise.
It's annoying.
